Where The DMC Journey Begins.

Established in 2024, DMC Kicks & Tricks is our Discovery Programme for young players taking their first steps into football.

Designed for children aged 3–6 years, the programme has quickly become one of the most popular parts of DMC, helping young players develop their confidence, coordination, movement and fundamental football skills in a fun and engaging environment.

The programme is about much more than learning to kick a ball.

We introduce young players to the fundamentals of the game while helping them develop the confidence, independence and enjoyment that can form the foundations of their football journey.

From Discovery To Development

Kicks & Tricks is the starting point of the DMC player pathway.

Since launching in 2024, over 100 children who started their football journey through Kicks & Tricks have progressed into DMC FC grassroots teams, with a number of those players continuing their development and progressing into professional football clubs.

Our aim is to create a clear pathway from a child’s very first football session through to grassroots football and, for those who have the ability and desire, towards the professional game.

What We Develop

Sessions are designed specifically for young players and focus on:

Ball familiarity and basic ball mastery
Dribbling and changes of direction
Passing and receiving
Coordination and movement
Balance and agility
Basic 1v1 skills
Confidence with the ball
Listening and following instructions
Teamwork and social development
Most importantly, a love for football

Our coaches create a positive environment where children can learn, make mistakes, express themselves and build confidence through football.

Nursery & Reception

Saturdays: 09:30 – 10:30

Year 1 Class

📍 Goals Black Country, WV14 7BL
Tuesdays: 17:00 – 18:00

📍 LMRCA Railway Club, WS1 4JG
Saturdays: 10:30 – 12:00

Who Is It For?

Kicks & Tricks is suitable for children aged 3–6 years, whether they are completely new to football or already beginning to develop an interest in the game.

No previous experience is required.

We meet players where they are and help them take their next step.
