A Focused Environment For Female Players

At DMC, we believe players should be exposed to a variety of training environments throughout their development.

Where appropriate, we encourage our female players to train within mixed sessions, providing the opportunity to work alongside a wider range of players and experience different challenges within their development.

However, we also recognise that some players thrive within a dedicated girls-only environment. Our Girls Development sessions provide that opportunity, creating a focused, supportive and challenging environment for female players aged U7–U12.

Developing The Individual

Our girls-only sessions are delivered in small groups, allowing coaches to work closely with each player and provide greater individual attention throughout the session.

Sessions focus on the key areas of player development, including:

Technical ability and ball mastery
1v1 attacking and defending
Passing, receiving and combination play
Decision making and game understanding
Movement and positioning
Creativity and confidence
Developing the ability to perform under pressure

Players are challenged according to their individual level and development needs, while being encouraged to express themselves and play with confidence.

Led By Experienced DMC Coaches

Our Girls Development sessions are led by Coach Seanna, providing female players with a positive role model within their coaching environment, alongside Head Coach Danny.

Together, they create a high-standard coaching environment where players are supported, challenged and encouraged to continue progressing.

Our objective is simple: to develop better footballers, build confidence and create an environment where every girl can enjoy and progress within the game.

U7–U12 Girls
